#Spirited City Neighborhood Tour - Shelby Park Walking Tour
Join Louisville Tourism for a free walking tour of Shelby Park, led by a neighborhood ambassador! We have two tours planned for Sunday, October 7 at 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm. The tours are free, but please be sure to reserve you spot! Named for Kentucky first governor, Isaac Shelby, the Shelby Park neighborhood has been part of Louisville's history since the 1880s. Come learn about the history from the 1880s to present of this vibrant neighborhood. Along the tour, you'll learn about the art, architecture and history the makes up Shelby Park neighborhood. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for the tour. When you arrive, be on the lookout for a Louisville Tourism representative holding a #SpiritedCity sign. Parking: On-street parking is available on the streets around the Shelby Park entrance. Don't forget to share your photos from the tour on social media with #SpiritedCity.
