Neighborhood Meeting 20-CUPPA-0016 Bellarmine Softball and Baseball Field Expansion

Neighborhood Meeting Notification Re: A Conditional Use Permit to allow updates to athletic fields related to an institutional use (universitycampus) in a residential zone (Case No. 20-CUPPA-0016) A conditional use permit application for proposed expansions to the baseball and softball fields for 2000 Norris Place/2001 Newburg Rd (Bellarmine University) was submitted to Louisville Metro Planning and Design Services on January 21st, 2020. The conditional use permit application will allow for the renovation and expansion of the existing baseball and softball fields to allow new dug outs, press box and concession stands. The new construction will occur in the same space as the current fields. In accordance with the procedures of Louisville Metro Planning and Design Services, we invite adjoining property owners and neighborhood group representatives to discuss this proposal before it appears before a meeting of the Louisville Metro Board of Zoning Adjustment. This will be an informal meeting to give you the opportunity to review the proposed plan, as well as to discuss the proposal with the application representatives. This meeting will be held in addition to the established procedures of the Louisville Division of Planning and Design Services, including a full public hearing before the Louisville Metro Board of Zoning Adjustment.
