Cancelled - Lexington Road Safety Improvements Meeting

District 5 of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and Louisville Metro Government are considering changes to the existing traffic pattern along Lexington Road from Grinstead Drive to Alta Vista Road. A substantial section of the roadway is currently closed due to a a Louisville Water Company project. Upon reopening, the road is proposed to be reconfigured from 4 lanes (2 in each direction) to 3 lanes (1 in each direction and 1 center turn lane.) This project will extend the reconfiguration project along Lexington Road from Payne Street to Grinstead Drive. KYTC and Louisville Metro will be hosting a public open house to discuss the project and solicit feedback on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana, 2115 Lexington Road.
