Repairing the World Through Music and Story: An Interfaith Event

The Jewish Federation of Louisville and Center for Interfaith Relations will host an evening illustrating the power of music and stories to inspire healing and hope. As part of the Violins of Hope Louisville exhibition, this evening will both bear witness to tragic assaults on faithful and peaceful people around the world and illuminate the creative sparks that emanate from within the human heart to regenerate, heal and foster life. Featuring Grammy Award-winning violin virtuoso Johnny Gandelsman, the evening will be comprised of moving stories, prayers from a diverse mix of the world’s faith traditions, and inspirational music meant to evoke healing, restoration, peace and hope.
