One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

3 shows: October 24 - 7:00 p.m October 25 - 7:00 p.m. October 27 - 3:00 p.m. Directed by Morgan Schussler Williams and produced by Integrity Arts, the production opens with Chief Bromden, the ward's longest patient known to be deaf and mute, fooling everyone but the audience. He is a huge overbearing Native American who is surrounded by the noises and the machines in his head and thinks everyone is bigger than him. Then there is RP McMurphy, who is sent to the institution from a work farm while the whole time faking insanity, causing commotion on the ward overseen by the overbearing Nurse Ratched. She controls anyone and everything including Dr Spivey, the psychiatrist with 200 patients and a bleeding ulcer, and who has yet to take control of anything on his own. The story is about society’s pressure to conform to everyday standards while being pushed to every limit you could possibly have and what happens when you don’t play along.BUY TICKETSLearn more.......
