Corn Island Storytelling

Saturday, October 19th is Corn Island Storytelling at Blackacre State Nature Preserve & Historic Homestead (3200 Tucker Station Road). It’s one of Louisville’s hidden treasures! Regional and National Storytellers come and share ghost stories behind Blackacre’s barn that was built is 1795. This year they have EMMY AWARD WINNING Storyteller Bobby Norfolk! He is quite the crowd pleaser the whole family will enjoy. You can check him out at here.  Refreshments including hot cocoa, spiced cider and hot dogs will be available for purchase. Tickets can be bought through blackacreconservancy.org or Redpintix.com. Advanced tickets are $12 each (12 and under are free!). They are $15 at the gate. Money raised helps with education programs and the upkeep of the 300-acre homestead. Be sure to arrive early to get a good seat (general admission)! Plus, you will have time to explore the barn, feed the animals and explore the homestead. Mark your calendars--Saturday, October 19th, at 7:30 p.m.Learn more.......
