Night Hike on Red Trail

Join our experienced volunteers for a fall night hike!* Hike briefly on the Red Trail in the Horine Reservation, then head down a gravel road to visit the Horine family cemetery and hear their story. After the hike, warm up around a fire and enjoy a s’more. Meet in the Horine Reservation area parking lot 12408 Holsclaw Hill Rd. The hike is rated an Easy 2.4 miles. Two dates are offered this year: Friday, October 25 AND Saturday, October 26. 2. Hikers must register and be limited to 50 hikers each night. Registered hikers will be charged $5 per family of 4. Hikers will not be allowed to hike with us if they are not registered. Registration will be cut off Wednesday before the hike (October 23). Please register with the Welcome Center at 502-368-5404.
