KMAC Adult Workshop: Kurinuki Ceramics

Explore different methods of hand building with clay and create two ceramic vessels or boxes to keep. Participants will be introduced to the traditional Kurinuki method of carving or hollowing out vessels from blocks of clay. With the leftover clay, they will learn how to form a pot, bowl, or cup by sculpting. Participants will get to glaze their pieces, leave them at KMAC to be fired, and pick them up three weeks after the class. Snacks and libations provided.Learn more.........
