FREE Forest School on Sundays

Free Forest School Returns to the Louisville Nature Center! ‘”Free Forest School of Louisville, KY is a local chapter of the nonprofit Free Forest School. (https://ift.tt/2PmnOfg). Fostering the next generation of environmental stewards, Free Forest School opens the door to nature play and emergent learning for thousands of children by empowering parents and caregivers to provide it themselves. The Free Forest School chapter of Louisville, KY is a free, cooperative, volunteer-run group for children age 0 to 6 and their parents/caregivers that meets on a weekly basis throughout the year in nearby wilderness areas. We share a snack, take a hike, play in the woods, and have circle time. Parents and caregivers get a chance to unplug and step back... Kids and their imaginations take the lead! You can read more about our group and the areas we explore here: https://ift.tt/2ZD4YXj *IMPORTANT* Before we admit members, we want to know that you live in the area and have or care for kids. You will also need to complete our waiver before participating: https://ift.tt/2YwJQ7N For more information please contact the facilitator at shana.leigh.naugle@gmail.com
