Neighborhood Meeting Notification Letter June 19, 2019    To the Adjacent Property Owners and Metro Councilperson for District 8: Roosey Holdings LLC (the “Owner”) plans to submit a development proposal to request a zoning change for 1316 Bellwood Avenue, Louisville KY 40204 (the “Property”). The Owner seeks a change in the Property’s zoning district from R-5 to R-5B in order to allow two families or persons to occupy the two existing dwelling units on the Property (i.e., to allow the Property to function as a duplex rather than a single-family home). No construction is required, as the Property was divided into two separate dwelling units prior to the Owner’s purchase of the Property. In accordance with the procedures of Louisville Metro Planning and Design Services, the Owner has been directed to invite you to discuss this proposal before an application can be filed. This will be an informal meeting to give you the opportunity to hear about the proposed plan and discuss the proposal with the Owner’s representatives. This meeting will be held in addition to the established public meeting procedures of the Planning Commission and/or the Board of Zoning Adjustment. The meeting to discuss this development proposal will be held on: Friday, July 5, 2019, at 6:30 PM Meeting location: Highlands Community Campus 1228 East Breckinridge Street Louisville KY 40204 At this meeting, the Owner’s representatives will explain the proposal and then discuss any questions or concerns you have.
