Americana World Community Festival 2019

Americana’s 29th Annual Festival Saturday June 1, 2019 at Iroquois Amphitheater Americana World Community Center is excited to invite you to the Americana Festival, a celebration of diversity and community! The 29th Annual event will be held this year on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at Iroquois Amphitheater from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Americana Festival celebrates the journeys, the cultures and the people from all over the world who call the Bluegrass home. This ever-growing festival invites the entire community to be a part of a compassionate day lifting-up inclusion, unity and the beautiful diversity of Louisville. The festival is a free, family-oriented event that, international performances, a buy-local marketplace with art, jewelry, and other unique gifts for sale, diverse cuisines, community resources & vendors, and crafts and games for children in our Kids Zone. Enjoy live performances from, Appalatin, Flamenco Louisville, Salsa Rhythms, and Americana young participant’s performance. This event celebrates the exciting multiculturalism that enriches the Louisville Metro area and is made possible by Kosair Charities, ValuMarket, Louisville Public Media, TARC, and Family Health Centers. Americana is bridging the gap from surviving to thriving in Louisville’s refugee, immigrant, and underserved population.
