Come learn about the plants of spring from a professional Horticulturist! There is something for everyone. This class is designed to stimulate your curiosity, while giving you tools to expand your learning. We will explore topics such as: · How to Identify Plants · Anatomy and Physiology · Hazards and Poisonous Plants · Edible, Medicinal, and Useful Traits (including soap, fire, rope, baskets and more) · How to Use Plants to Navigate · History and Tribal Uses · Seasons, Life Cycles and Survival Strategies · Effective Journaling (There will be an exercise committed to this) This class is for ages 16 and up.
