Rally to End Child Abuse

Family & Children’s Place will kick off Child Abuse Prevention Month with a rally Wednesday, April 10, to talk about child abuse, violence, exploitation, neglect, and prevention, intervention, and restoration efforts for children and families in Louisville and Southern Indiana. Following the rally, we will host several tours through our Child Advocacy Center. Speakers include: Pam Darnall, President/CEO, Family & Children’s Place; Mayor Greg Fischer; Dr. Terry Brooks, KYA; Kentucky State Senator Julie Raque Adams; Representative Joni Jenkins; Chief Steve Conrad, Louisville Metro Police Department; and Rashaad Abdur-Rahman, Office for Safe & Healthy Neighborhoods   Learn more....
