Second Presbyterian Church Concert Series Presents J. Brahms' A GERMAN REQUIEM

The Choirs of Second Presbyterian Church and St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church will be joined by full orchestra to present Johannes Brahms’ deeply personal version of the Requiem Mass (sung in English) intended to comfort the living in the face of death. Dr. James Rightmyer conducts, and soprano Christina Bouras Recktenwald and baritone Jim Rittenhouse will be featured. Admission is free - Childcare available. A free-will offering will be taken on behalf of the Kilgore Samaritan Counseling Center. A reception is to follow.
