Louisville Grows: Citizen Forester 101 Training

The Citizen Forestry Training 101 is the foundation of Louisville Grows' Tree Planting Program. Through the Citizen Forestry 101 course, participants learn how to build and maintain our neighborhood and community forests. Participants are taught basic tree anatomy and physiology, environmental stewardship, tree planting skills and how to lead other volunteers in proper planting and caring for trees. All trainees receive a Citizen Forester t-shirt. Scholarships available upon request.
