Forecastle Foundation Cocktails & Conservation with Scott Smith + Friends

Join us at Lola for an unforgettable night of Louisville folk soul music, bourbon, and bidding to help the Forecastle Foundation continue to protect and connect the earth’s natural awesome. Scott Smith, a Hurricane, WV native, is the artist-in-residence at Main & Clay in Louisville’s Butchertown neighborhood. When he first met friend and musical collaborator Ben Sollee, Scott knew there was something special about Louisville, and he now calls Derby City his home. When describing his sound to Insider Louisville’s Sara Havens, he says, “I’d say I’m very much […] geographically pegged. I love older country music, soul, and blues – so for me, the music sounds like Charley Pride and Bill Withers sat down and had a conversation.” Scott was also a fast friend of the Forecastle Foundation, volunteering his time and his naturally awesome attitude to help spread our environmental message at the festival last year. Butchertown Grocery chef Bobby Benjamin will offer a special menu of his favorite late night bites throughout the evening, to be paired with beverage director Nic Christiansen's Four Roses cocktail specials. A limited number of tickets will be sold for this event! General Admission tickets are $30 each and there is a limit of four (4) per buyer. For $40, get Early Bird admittance to the show to snag that perfect seat, an exclusive Four Roses Bourbon tasting experience, first look at the premium silent auction items (including a pair of weekend festival passes), and some sweet Festival swag - just for stopping by early!
