Meeting is in the Goetz Center (not the church) which is the lower level. Awards will be provided to the following:Founders Award: The Founders Award will be presented posthumously to the late John Asher, who was Vice President of Communications at Churchill Downs.The Samuel W. Thomas Book Award: “Louisville’s Street Railways and how They Shaped the City’s Growth’. Martin Biemer will accept this award on behalf of the other co-authors posthumously George Yater and James Calvert.Branden Klayko Civic Advocacy Award: Doug Proffitt for advocacy of Louisville historyMartha Elson Neighborhood Advocacy Award: Charles ‘Chip’ Rogalinski for contributions to Shelby Park neighborhood history Heritage Awards: Anne Jewel for preserving the historical legacy of the Louisville Slugger    Paul Olliges for interpreting Falls of the Ohio history    J Valle Jones for advocacy to preserve Whiskey Row    Jeanne Burke leadership in preservation and interpretation of the history of Clark County, Indiana Learn more...
