Start a healthy holiday tradition in your family on Thanksgiving morning along with thousands of other walkers and runners in our community. 48TH ANNUAL TURKEY TROT What: 48th Annual Turkey Trot 5K/10K/Kids Trot Who: Open to YMCA members, as well as the community at-large When: Thanksgiving morning, November 22, 2018 starting promptly at 8:00 AM (5K/10K) and 9:30 AM (Kids Trot) Where: The race starts and ends at the Northeast Family YMCA, 9400 Mill Brook Road, 40223 *Rates: January 1-November 9: 5K/10K: $35; Kids Trot: $15 November 10-November 22: 5K/10K: $45; Kids Trot: $20 (Note: Listed fees do not include KY sales tax)   REGISTRATION Register online for the Turkey Trot until midnight on Tuesday, November 20. In-person registration is available on Wednesday, November 21 from 11 am-7 pm at the Northeast Family YMCA and on Race Day starting at 7 am. Register before November 10 to save!   FREE CHILD CARE Child care is available at the Adventure Center for runners, walkers, and volunteers from 7 am – noon on race day. 5K AND 10K RACE INFORMATION Join thousands of other walkers and runners in your community in this time-honored, family friendly Thanksgiving morning tradition and kick off the holiday season in a healthy way! For both the 5K and 10K race, medals will be awarded to the winning male/female by age group and top 3 males/females for the overall race. All participants will receive a commemorative 2018 Turkey Trot shirt. KIDS TROT INFORMATION The Kids Trot is open to kids ages 10 and under and will take place at 9:30 am at the Lyndon Football Field behind to the Northeast Family YMCA. Please arrive by 9:15 am. Kids will be grouped by age. To ensure your child receives a shirt and award, please register by November 9th. Age Group Approx. PACKET PICK UP Wednesday, November 21; 11 am-7 pm Thursday, November 22; 7 am-8:30 am PARKING Parking will be available at the Northeast Family YMCA and across Ormsby Station Road. Please arrive early to allow time to park and get to the start line.
