Mayor's Music & Art Series: Chanson Calhoun
Mayor's Music & Art Series: Chanson Calhoun Thursday, August 2 Jefferson Square Park (6th and Jefferson Streets) Free Admission About Chanson Calhoun: From an early age, Louisville’s Chanson Calhoun has been infatuated with music. This love has pushed her to perform, record and study music on a higher level. She legally changed her name from Amber to Chanson, which translates to song in French. Her dedication to her music goes beyond her first name as she was crowned the first Kentuckiana Idol last summer. With dozens of original R&B tracks, Chanson works with her brother and producer, Harold Calhoun of Sole Music Productions to create more content. Follow Chanson along her musically journey from Louisville, Kentucky and beyond on Facebook. About the Mayor's Music & Art Series: The Mayor's Music & Art Series is moving outside for the summer months! Please join us across the street from Metro Hall at Jefferson Square Park at noon for a special lunchtime performance. The Music & Art Series features performances on the first Thursday of the month. The performance will move inside to the Mayor's Gallery on the 4th floor of Metro Hall in case of bad weather. Music starts at 12:10 p.m. with a brief interview between the band and Mayor Fischer. Free admission. The Mayor's Music & Art Series is sponsored by 91.9 WFPK Independent Louisville. More information - https://ift.tt/2JAs8J0
