WFPK Winter Wednesday with Amanda Shires
Bendigo Fletcher opens the show. WFPK Winter Wednesday was created in 2012 as a way to continue WFPK’s successful concert series, Waterfront Wednesday, during the winter months and is first come, first seated and FREE to all. Preferred seating is available to members of 91.9 WFPK, who will receive information via email to reserve their seats prior to the general public. The Holy Trinity Clifton Campus is located at 2117 Payne Street Louisville, KY 40206. Support for WFPK Winter Wednesday comes from Bearno's Pizza, Crown Royal and Yuengling Lager.
Second Saturday Family Day: Kentucky Crafts
Throughout its history, Kentucky has been home to creative people in pursuit of excellence in their craft and today you can meet some of them in person! Mary Reed and Wayne Ferguson are both artists featured in the Kentucky Craft Luminaries Exhibition at the Frazier, and they’ll both be here for Second Saturday to offer visitors a chance to see them work and even give their art forms a try themselves. Visitors will have the opportunity to make a corn husk doll, mold clay with a master, play a dulcimer, see several of our live performance, and much more! Our Second Saturday programming is included in the price of museum admission (free for Members!).

On December 31 and January 1, we will set off our Great Big Science Explosion of the Day at the drop of noon with a countdown and even bigger explosion! Join us for Fleet Feet's 2nd Annual New Years Day 5k! Whether it's cold, warm, snowy, or somewhere in between, we will start the New Year off right with a 5K Fun Run / Walk. We will depart from Fleet Feet on foot at approximately 10:30 AM on New Year's Day. This is a family friendly event and we encourage you to bring the whole family, even your four legged friends! Help us share the warmth this winter by bringing NEW and GENTLY used coats, hats, scarves, gloves and blankets to donate. All items collected will be given to The Forgotten Louisville and distributed to those in need. You don't feel like participating in the 5K Fun Run?
